My partner and I are looking at the cost of furniture in Portugal as we are planning on buying a property. Online it all seems quite pricey, just wondering if there are any suggestions as to where we can find reasonably priced furniture ? Thank you
Yes, you have to shop around, but generally it’s expensive… look online in Spain or other countries that would deliver to Portugal. Stay away from UK as you will end up paying customs duty!
Charity shops are particularly good (because non-Portuguese property owners give their unwanted furniture to charity shops as they don't want to have to bring it home to their home countries).
OLX.pt is good as a free classified website.
There are auction rooms over near Faro (Google it).

Kit and Caboodle second hand furniture store in Almancil is fabulous! I moved into a furnished flat but needed a few things - end table, lamp, ottoman, pictures, etc. Found everything I needed and all in great shape. Get on their website and you can browse their inventory. Beautiful and classy items in great shape...

Ikea in Loule is great and not too expensive and for a small charge the will deliver and even assemble the furniture for you
