My partner and I are looking at the cost of furniture in Portugal as we are planning on buying a property. Online it all seems quite pricey, just wondering if there are any suggestions as to where we can find reasonably priced furniture ? Thank you

Can anyone recommend an electric shutter installer / repairer around Albufeira ?  I have a shutter where i think a hanger may be broken.

Good Evening everyone,

My name is Nik and my Wife is Louise. Following our last trip we have fallen in love with the Monchique area. We are planning a number of trips back later this year with a view of finding a property to purchase. We intend to buy an older property requiring restoration with plenty of land. This is a 2 year project for us as we intend to move out full time in June 2025.

Over the next few months we would love to talk to anyone who has done similar as we will be looking for reliable builders, solicitors to help with Visa’s, health insurance providers, recommendations for places to stay and most importantly places to eat.

Longer term we would love to have lessons in Portuguese as we want to fully integrate with the local community.

So any early tips on any of the above would be gratefully appreciated.

My house burned in the 2018 fires and I am still waiting ………I have been offered a caravan and I wondered if anyone has any camp equipment not wanted. I would be very grateful for any help. Thanks

We have recently moved here from Spain but have an amount of items left in Spain to collect. Does anyone have any idea of how we can hire a large van as the large companies will not allow their vans to cross the border?
