Hi Cecilia, there is a guy in Vila Real called Nino, he organises Fado nights, dancing in the street nights and boad trips up the guadiana river to Odelite with lunch which are all great socialising event. Give him a call on 00351 963634078. He will give you the details. Have a great stay

There's a group who meet every Wednesday morning (about 11am) in the Serafim café opposite the GNR police station in Castro Marim.
Mostly, British, American and Irish. All English speakers, aged 40 upwards.
All welcome.
