Hello I am looking for a three bed house or apartment to rent for three months from Dec 30th -March 2021. I am looking for some where that has heating and an open fire as I like my home to be warm. I need the house to be within walking distance to a town or have good public transport links. My budget is about 1200 per  month

We have two sets of french doors that the mechanism has loosened so doesnt open/release the catches completely so doors wont open, unless you add a lot of force. We are in Cabanas and would appreciate it if anyone has suggestions, contacts etc...? Thanks

We are currently in the UK, but relocating in the Summer.  We are looking to buy a large (estate or big SUV) that is Portuguese registered.  We would be looking to get the vehicle to the UK prior to our departure.  So if anyone has a large car for sale that they wanted to use to drive back to the UK (with expenses covered) please let us know.

I have just read an article which says it’s from Safe Communties Portugal. It states that any British person who came to Portugal before 1st January 2021 can stay here after 31st March 2021. Does anyone know anymore about this?

We will very shortly be buying a home in the Algarve and wondered if anyone can recommend a local (preferably in Tavira) lawyer to carry out the search and conveyancing? We have tried direct approaches but their costs are wildly different! Looking forward to your recommendations and many thanks in advance.

I am on holiday in my motorhome in Tavira. My 90 day allowance to stay here runs out on March 31st. I have a lung disease called COPD and do not feel safe travelling back. Is there anyway I can get my time here extended. I am not in a position to take temporary residence. 

Hi, I am due to travel to Portugal on 15th December with my mum but her passport expires in April 21. From what I can gather she is ok to travel to Portugal on that date and then also return to the UK in January despite not having 6 months left on her passport. My understanding is that from 1st Jan 21 you will need at least 6 months on your passport to travel TO Europe from the Uk, but not vice versa. Any info will be hugely appreciated! Please don't send links to UK Gov website or Post Office/Passport Office website as it is from these places I have made my assumption, it's other folk that are telling me differently. Obrigada! X
