Hi everyone
We will very shortly be buying a home in the Algarve and wondered if anyone can recommend a local (preferably in Tavira) lawyer to carry out the search and conveyancing? We have tried direct approaches but their costs are wildly different! Looking forward to your recommendations and many thanks in advance.
Hi Pogo,
I can recommend Veronica Pisco, her main office is in Almancil, but she also has a small office in Tavira.
I used her in 2020 to find and buy my house in Salir and included giving her Power of Attorney (as I could not get there to sign the papers at the notary office).
She has a great team who all speak good English and have Nuno, who helped me (over several months) find the right property and organised the viewings with the selling agents.
She has a selection of 'packages' available, depending on what you want doing by her team.

Hi Pogo44: I have recently joined a real estate office in Tavira that could help, I know they have been using a local Lawyer for many years so I will get the details tomorrow morning and post ok.
May I ask, have you already purchased a property as yet?
