Hi .What is the best month to plant shrubs in a small wild area by my house . What shrubs should I choose . Fast growing hedging type plants and some pretty flowering shrubs .Albufeira . Thank you for any suggestions .

Hello it’s best to plant shrubs and trees in the winter when there is some rain and it is cooler, then they establish better and can cope with summer temps.
Best way to choose is see what thrives in other people’s gardens. I would have a medrono bush, for the pretty strawberry fruits and it is evergreen, maybe some lantanas for flowers but really there are so many shrubs to choose from.
For drought resistance, consider going for cacti and succulents instead.
