Hey all, I recently purchased a 1997 Alfa Romeo Spider in France that has only 12,000 original miles on it. After driving it here to Portimao, something has gone amiss and it is barely driveable (slow up hills, "hiccuping"). I'm looking for a skilled mechanic who can diagnose and help me get the car ready to export to the USA. TIA

Hi All, I am finding it very difficult to get permission to fly my drone and get registered with the authorities to fly my drone around the beaches and cliffs of my area, I live in Alvor and have actually called at their headquarters office in Portimao but I did not get any help there, I have to the Captain of the Portimao harbour asking for the said permission, I did get a reply but only to tell me they only deal with matters that are written in Portuguese, I did translate my request several days ago but alas have not received a reply.  Does anyone know of a secret password or something that can help me in this matter I do not want to fall foul of the law in this matter.  Thanks,  Keith

Hi there, is there anyone here that flies a drone> I am having great difficulty in obtaining permission to fly and film the beautiful beaches and cliffs that abound around the Portimao area. I am very new to this sport and I own a small DJI Mini2 drone which weighs below 250 grams. I have found that beaches, recreational areas, etc, you need various permissions to fly within them.  Can you help.  Cheers.  

My husband and I are coming to Praia da Rocha on holiday 13 January - 10 February and would like to buy second hand bikes to use during our stay as it would be too expensive to hire them for this length of time. Unfortunately, our holiday is subject to Covid regulations in UK and Portugal so we may have to delay our travel dates.
