Signing up for SNS in Portimao

Hi, David I recently got my SNS ( 2 weeks ago) in Portimão unfortunately for you I think due to COVID you can no longer go to the place to walk in (sorry can’t remember the name) to get your number, you have to now go online and apply if you google I found the idiot guide how to do this it took around 2 weeks to receive my number..

Thank you. However, I already have my Numero de Utente. I am moving from the Porto area and just like to know if you were assigned a doctor?

Hi David, I did not receive any allocation to a doctor, I tried at a surgery in Alvor where I live and have residency but they had no spaces so I’ve been advised to join one in portimão (which I’m yet to do.!) that I believe charges a small fee €5 for attendance a friend of mine recommended it he had several scans etc, and paid €25 I’m in Tavira at the moment so I’ll find out the name of the place and advise you maybe suit you to go there also if needed.
