Hello, I am considering moving to the Algarve and I would appreciate any advice on area with a large expat community as I don’t know anyone and don’t speak Portuguese (yet) and I don’t want to feel isolated. Ideally a town near the beach with day to day amenities (decent grocery stores) etc. From research I see Carvoeiro and Portomao seem interesting?
How long are the winters and does is it very windy there for long periods?
Kindly provide any information you can that could assist me.

Hi, I am looking to rent an apartment which says its above the Fabrica Velha bakery has any stayed here before? If so could you let me know if you get any early morning noise with deliveries to the bakery, I know there are restaurants and bars around so expecting that sort of noise Thank You

I left my analog camera in the uber in Cavoeira on the night of Sunday 3 July to Monday 4 July when I was dropped of at Quinta Do Paraiso. The uber driver is called José and is 23 years old. I hope someone knows him so that I can get in touch with him.
