We have just rescued a dog. His name is Gus.
He is in desperate need of being bathed and groomed ( very thick coat in this heat) I am wanting this for practical reasons not cosmetic. He is so hot poor thing. We have only had him for nearly 4 weeks, but will not even allow us to brush him. Can anyone help. I could put him under a hose pipe but I don't want to ruin the trust we are building. He's very sweet a big softie
I could suggest you ask Sandra Lopes who is an excellent dog groomer & dog lover. My big hairy collie has no problem going into her & staying for hours with her .

Heather, she is excellent, very experienced & friendly too. Tell her I recommended you speak with her. My doggy's name is Mack.
Her mother is very involved in dog welfare in the area.
