Holiday in Olhao August.

Hi all, we have flights booked in August and I'm thinking of staying in Olhao this year. We are a family with 2 kids 6 and 7. We stayed in tavira last year and loved it. Is Olhao similar to Tavira? We loved the beaches and boat trip to the beach. The night street entertainment was super as well. Is Olhao suitable for kids and keeping them entertained besides the beach. I think Olhao is well served by public transport for day trips elsewhere. I would love to hear your thoughts, thanks.
