General Advice > Carvoeiro in the winter

Hi, I'm looking to buy a place in Carvoeiro,  

I'll want to rent it out over the summer and live there in the winter. Does anyone have any general advice about any of the follow which I'm mulling over to decide exactly what to buy

◉ How active any ex-pat social scene is in the winter, how many bars/restaurants open year round

◉ How often is an out of wind bbq area really useful (probably looking at 3/4 bed villa)

◉ Recommendations for management companies to handle clean/rent/maint etc over summer

◉ Are there any burglary or vandalism issues

◉ Heating property in the winter

◉ How much do pools cost to run and maintain? Is sea-water the way to go

◉ What's your favourite bar?
