We are buying an apartment in central Tavira (Completing March) initially we won't be there full time. What are we best doing to ensure we have internet connectivity available to us without paying for it when it's not needed.
Use your phones hotspot….. if you’re from UK and no longer have free roaming, go to MEO and gut a pay as you go SIm
We buy 30 day unlimited data sim cards from Vodafone in the Gran Plaza for euro 30. We have a router which takes sim cards. This works well for us.

They cost 49 euros and you can top them up for 15 days 15€ or 30 days 30€ for unlimited Internet. You can connect up to 8 devices at one I think. Charge it up , put it in your pocket and you have Internet wherever you go in Portugal . Great little device. Buy them in a Meo store.
Ask MEO if they have a package for part time owners/ vacationers.
