December and January weather in Castro Marim

My husband and I would like to stay in Castro Marim in the winter months ( December & January) mainly to play golf . Please could someone local give me an idea of weather that we could expect?We don't want it too hot for golf, 17/18 C would be great particularly if the sun was out, but we don't want days of rain , heavy grey threatening clouds or strong winds -we have that in the UK. I have been trying to keep a daily eye on the Portuguese weather forecast for Castro Marim ( & others) and the beach webcam for Monte Gordo but I cannot decide whether these are giving a true reflection or not !
