Concerns on surveyor report of property purchase - 3 replies

TheSmiths Posted by TheSmiths in General property discussion in Salir on Thu Apr 23, 2020 8:59pm

Hello everyone,

thank you for allowing us to join your forum.

We are in the process of buying a property near Cortelha which needs quite a lot of work to renovate.  Our main concerns are; no wiring (only the fuse box and large cable), also it has been suggested that we remove 60cm high of plaster to replace with a waterproof additive render throughout the house.  Our questions are who would you recommend to do this? How much of it can we do ourselves to save money? And what are the laws relating to this? We also need a new kitchen and a plumber!! Any advice whatsoever would be much appreciated.

Many thanks for your time,

The Smiths!!
