I'd just like to say hello again, I did introduce myself in May last year as we were expecting to complete our purchase shortly after.

We've finally bought our lovely house/home in Paderne, it's been a very protracted process that has taken over 19 months due to licencing issues.
Patience has prevailed and we are now in our long-awaited property.

Currently, our intentions are that we will carefully play the 90/180 rule as I still work full time in the UK but have the flexibility to work from home, so will take as many opportunities to work from Home.PT as possible.

We had the great opportunity to meet some of you guys last month when we joined the British Quiz Night at Central Cafe, Thank you to Phil and all the others who made Sara, my wife, and I feel very welcome.

Hopefully over the next weeks and months we'll get to meet more of you, as we work to renovate the house.

My name is Tracey and my husband (Paul) and I came across Paderne on a recent property viewing trip. We currently live near Worthing in the UK and are looking to retire to the area next year. 
We wondered if there were other folk from the UK in the village, and whether you’d recommend it as a good place to relocate to?

I'd like to say Bom Dia to all of you and thank you to Admin for allowing me to join.
My wife and I are in the process of purchasing a property near Paderne its been a long term dream as we have been regular visitors year in year out, to the Algarve, my wife since she was 18 months old and me for the last 30 odd years.
Unfortunately, we are not at the stage yet that we can up sticks and relocate on a residential basis, but will be maxing out our 90 days in 180 as far as humanly possible.
I'm sure over the next few months there are going to be a number of mostly sensible questions (possibly some dumb ones) posted by me and I will look eagerly to your responses.
Any snippets of advice and information is always welcomed
