So maybe u and I are only ppl on it! I am planning to move to empty apartment in Silves in the summer 2025. We are visiting here now. But I don't see any used furniture or antique places in Silves. Do u know if there are any? Or would I need to go to Lagos or Tavira etc to find these?

Well I believe there is a place in Portimao for second hand furniture but I’m sorry I don’t know where. I do know there are places elsewhere in The Algarve at Loule, I bought from 8 years ago House2House a little on the pricey side for second hand but most is good quality. I do t know if still operating or not but it was a very large place worth a visit, the other place is Kit&Kaboodle. ( I don’t know how to spell it either! Not exactly where it is. I know some stuff also like Conforta Martins for new appliances great advice and great service.
This site seems redundant- never mind we can manage to communicate Anna Fearnley on FB I live in Ferragudo or will soon I should say!

There is a lot less activity in the winter months, but it is still ticking along.
There are 2 shops in Loule that I know of from passing by. No idea of their names but seem to have a random stock of furniture. I did not notice white goods, but have never been looking for those.
( rough locations )

Map ref 37.138915,-8.020186 next door to bbq restaurant.
2nd one is bigger.
I guess there are a lot more across the Algarve, just hard to find as they are not named charity shops but someone's business.
I hope this may help
