Sagres in the 70s 80s 90s?

hey sagres lovers,

i wanted to ask if any of you have any visual material, like fotos, or knowledge about sagres in the 1970s, 1980s and 90s. someone told me the other day that the whole town looked completely different back then and there used to be some kind of lagoon/lake even which sounds fascinating. i searched the whole google for historic background and imagery but there‘s nothing from that time, only the usual heinrich tje navigator things.  

any hints?
