Air-conditioning is not working

Air conditioning gas leaks over time, these systems always need periodic topping up/replacement of the gas, four years is a long time without a top up. This must be done by a registered installer/service engineer as they are the only ones authorised to buy the gas and you need special equipment to remove the old gas and put in new gas or top up existing gas without it leaking into the environment too much. Of course there may be some other issue with your unit and again you need someone knowledgeable of the system to diagnose any fault.

I live in near Salir just North of Loule and use a Portuguese chap local to the Loule area, he has installed 6 units for me and serviced and topped up another, he's honest, reliable and reasonably priced. Thank you for your reply, yes I would like his details as my unit also needs servicing (it leaks inside). The other units though are more of a concern as they are only 4 years old and someone else has looked and done a pressure test saying they need the pipes replacing which are in the ceiling, they worked perfectly before and the pipes have not been touched so I would be grateful for another opinion.
