Hi, we are considering retiring to the Algarve and love the Lagos area. Is there an ex-Pat community and has anyone got any advice on areas to buy or rent?
Hi Helen,
There is a huge ex-pat community… there are formal ones like afpop that can be joined for a nominal fee and hold events to promote integration. In addition there are a bunch of Facebook groups that are really useful like “living in Lagos” etc….
