Base to explore from with bus/train links
Hello everyone,
We are a retired couple in our 60's, been to Algarve on holiday a few years ago and really like the area.
We will come out and stay a month in March, aiming to spend winter months and potentially a permanent move to the Algarve later.
We did the Portuguese Camino this year, so we like walking, and also interested in golf, exercise classes, local markets, restaurants....
We hope to use public transport rather than hire a car.
Would like to stay in a year-round town with all local amenities.
Would appreciate suggestions on where is best for us as a base to explore the area, looking for a permanent relocation later.
We are thinking of renting a place for a month using maybe Airbnb or Booking.com. Is this the best option for a month's rental or there are better options?
