Legal Advice re sending a solicitors letter to land lady who wont give back deposit but wants bank details to LODGE OWED MONEY

Can’t help re solicitor but surely asking for your account number and bank is very normal as a way to pay money? It means she has proof she has paid it?

I suspect you could end up wasting a lot of money on a solicitor, they would have to do a consultation with you before agreeing to send a letter I would think?

I agree with aspidistra - giving your bank details seems normal in PT.

I have been given a reputable lawyer who will take my case.I am a very positive person,yes I could take easy negative way out ,but I worked hard for 37 yrs as a nurse,and never took the attitude along with my colleagues to consider being negative,we would fight tooth and nail to save our patients,the day I take the easy way out I might as well throw in the towel.I have seen so much poverty here my 1000e would put food in kiddies stomach, food in a pregnant woman,s tummy to have a healthy baby,food in men's belly to have the strength to work to provide.
