Faro Airport Transfers
As Faro is such an important part of the Algarve for incoming tourists I suggest that it be offered as a sub-heading for Topics.
I flew into Faro on Monday, the 6th of Oct 2020, from Ireland after unsuccessfully sending about 12 emails to Faro Transfer businesses, about a month prior, to book a shared transfer to Lagos. On arrival I saw two booths offering transfers, TUI and Best4u. The former politely said that he had no such vacancy; the latter gruffly said Yes at a cost of €24. I gladly availed of the Best4U shared transfer but did not appreciate the unfriendly, abrupt, most unPortuguese-like attitude of the male receptionist there.
Why these many Transfer businesses don't club together to offer such a booking on-line service, especially in these strapped times, I'll never know!
