Hi, l am a solo pensioner living in the Alvor/Portimão area permanently. Can anyone recommend social places, clubs, pubs, etc where this might be possible? Any tips would be appreciated, thank you. A

Hi APPA animal charity have lunch events with their pop up shops and Casa is a social club that has several events throughout the year.

Hi Andy007,
If you're an animal lover, the Canil Municipal of Portimao needs dog walking volunteers every Thursday from 9 -12. There are volunteers who have been coming for years and will sometimes get together afterwards at a nearby cafe.

Thanks for replying, I am surprised… in Italy, wheresabouts?
I am half Italian and half Irish. So Italy is my dream place. My Mother is from Aquila, near Abruzzo. Up in the mountains!
What food do you eat? Do you like spaghetti bolegnese, or a rich tagliatelle? Lol.
